- Are both you and the ISPs using the same telco? Different telcos can use
- different equipment causing this type of problem. I see it at work all
- the time - receive speeds of 19.2 or so and send of 24k or so. Using a
- modem with the ability to display line characteristics, I see really bad
- near end echo figures which probably explains the difference in speeds.

- In your case, perhaps your line card/line are causing the problem.
